Job functions
- Provide legal consultations in their individual capacity as independently licensed professionals, directly to end users via the SharoushiMasters platform;
- Deliver legal advice and professional opinions solely under their own professional responsibility and licensing authority, independent from SharoushiMasters;
- Conduct consultations related to employment law matters only where permitted by their provincial or territorial license;
- Maintain full compliance with:
— The Law Society of British Columbia or other applicable provincial law societies
— Professional conduct rules and ethical obligations
- Establish and manage solicitor-client relationships directly with clients, including confidentiality and record-keeping obligations;
- Independently assess whether a client matter falls within their authorized scope of practice;
- Set professional availability and consultation schedules via the platform;
- Provide ongoing proof of valid licensing and good standing with the relevant regulatory authority;
- Carry professional liability insurance where required by the applicable law society.
Qualifications
— Canadian Lawyer (Employment Law), or
— Licensed Paralegal (where permitted by provincial regulation)
- Valid membership and good standing with:
— the Law Society of British Columbia, or
— another applicable Canadian provincial law society
- Proof of professional liability insurance (if required);
- Agreement to operate strictly as an independent contractor;
- Acceptance of platform terms, compliance disclosures, and jurisdiction-specific limitations.
